Terms & Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  2. Promoter: Essity UK Limited, Southfields Road, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU6 3EJ

  3. This promotion is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) only, who are aged 18 years and over. Excludes employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

  4. Proof of purchase, mobile number, email address, UK bank account & internet access required.

  5. Purchase Period: The Purchase Period for Qualifying Product purchases must be made between 06.05.2026 and 14.07.2026. (‘Purchase Period’).

  6. Claim Period: Claim online at tenatrymefree.co.uk between 06.05.2026 and 28.07.2026. (‘Claim Period’).

  7. Please retain your original itemised till receipt that states the time and date of purchase within the Purchase Period, as this will be required for validation and in order to claim. Any claim attempts made outside of the Claim Period or receipts that are not dated within the Purchase Period will be deemed as invalid. Each receipt can only be used once to claim regardless of quantity purchased. Please also retain promotional pack sticker featuring unique code as this may be required for further claim verification.

  8. Claim instructions: Purchase a Qualifying Product from a participating retailer during the Purchase Period, visit tenatrymefree.co.uk during the Claim Period and complete the online form with your full name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, UK bank details including sort code and account number, unique code, Qualifying Product purchased, purchase price relative to the amount shown on your original itemised till receipt (max. £5.00) and the participating retailer you purchased the product in. Your unique code can be found on the inside of the sticker on your promotional pack. You will also be required to upload a picture of your original itemised till receipt clearly showing the purchase of the Qualifying Product, the time and date of purchase during the Purchase Period and the receipt number. Unique codes featured on promotional packs can only be used once. Only valid unique codes will be accepted. Manufacturer’s references or printing errors do not constitute valid codes. The Promoter does not assume any responsibility for codes damaged or defaced in the way the product packaging is opened.

  9. You must make your claim using your full legal name, as per the name on your bank account. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Claimant who uses multiple names or any false names and to require them to return to the Promoter the full amount of any refund awarded. Claimants will be notified via email in the case that their claim is unsuccessful.

  10. Claim value: the maximum claim value is the price paid as per the receipt submitted and, in any case, no higher than the amounts listed in clause 18.

    1. Where a Qualifying Product is purchased as part of an offer and it is not clear what proportion of the overall price paid is attributable to the Qualifying Product, Claimants are able to claim the price of the Qualifying Product as stated on the receipt submitted (up to the maximum refund value stated in clause 18).
  11. Further claim details:

    1. The uploaded original itemised till receipt must clearly show purchase of a Qualifying Product dated within the Purchase Period, the purchase price, the name of the retailer you purchased from and the receipt number.
    2. The retailer selected on the online claim form must match the retailer shown on the original till receipt provided as proof of purchase.
    3. Receipts that are generated, altered, or otherwise created using artificial intelligence (AI), or any automated tools will not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject any receipt that we believe, at our sole discretion, has been generated using AI.
    4. Claims must be made within the Claim Period.
    5. Only one Claim for a single refund per person, bank account, mobile number and email address, during the entire Claim Period, despite which Qualifying Product is purchased. For the avoidance of doubt, a ‘person’ is defined as a unique bank account, mobile number and email address. If more than the permitted number of claims are received from the same person, all such claims and any associated claims will be disqualified.
    6. UK bank details will comprise of your name as it appears on your bank account, sort code and account number.
    7. If your Claim is valid, you will be notified via the email address you provided when making your Claim within 7 days and you will receive your refund within 21 days after that.
    8. If your Claim is not valid, you will be notified via the email address you provided when making your Claim within 7 days notifying you of the reason for rejection and where appropriate, the action required to rectify this.
    9. Valid Claimants only will receive a refund via bank transfer for the amount relative to the Qualifying Product listed on the original itemised till receipt provided to a maximum value of £5.00, as per the maximum refund values outlined in paragraph 18. Bank transfer is the only method of refund available.
    10. Please note some receipts may show the date on the reverse and therefore it may be necessary to upload more than one receipt image.
    11. Receipt images must be uploaded in .png, .jpeg or .pdf format. An original receipt and/or image of the empty packaging may be requested at any time by the Promoter in order to process a Claim. Any original itemised till receipt provided must match the receipt submitted with the online Claim form.
    12. If multiple Qualifying Products are purchased in one transaction, only the one nominated Qualifying Product listed by the Claimant on the Claim form will be referred to in determining refund received. Each receipt may only be used once to make a single Claim.
    13. Any Claims received that do not meet these requirements will be void and invalid.
  12. Bank transfer payments will only be made payable to the person whose name appears on the online registration Claim form and the bank details entered. Please ensure your name is typed correctly and matches the name of the account holder. Bank transfer payments will be administered by Umbrella Risk Management Limited. The Promoter takes no responsibility for incorrect payments where the bank details provided were incorrect. Payments cannot be reversed once they have been processed. No replacement payments will be granted.

  13. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all Claims and to refuse to award Claims where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s requirements.

  14. If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your Claim will be invalid, and you will forfeit any right to the money back offer.

  15. The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting a Claim, including having the requisite photograph capability. The Promoter takes no responsibility for Claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the web page.

  16. A Claim must be made directly by the individual making the Claim. Please ensure you use your legal name at the time of claiming. No Claims from agents, third parties, or organised groups will be accepted. Incomplete or illegible Claims or those not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be rejected.

  17. When you access the Promotion Website by scanning a QR code on pack or POS, certain technical information is collected automatically by the third party platform operating the QR code system. This includes your device’s IP address and the date and time of your scan. Your IP address may be used to determine an approximate geographic location (such as city or region) for analytics and fraud prevention purposes. This location information is derived solely from IP based lookup, and no device GPS or precise location data is collected. This information is used only to help us understand how consumers interact with the Promotion, ensure system integrity, and improve the Promotion experience.

  19. Incomplete or illegible Claims, or via third parties or syndicates, claims by macros or other automated means and Claims which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is attempting to circumvent this condition by, for example, using identities other than their own or automated means, their Claim will be void.

  20. Data Protection: Any personal information provided by the entrants will be used by the Promoter (the data controller) and/or its agents for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants' personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants. If you have expressly opted-in to receiving further information from the Promoter, you agree that the Promoter and/or its agents or suppliers may use and store these details to provide you with further information about the Promoter's products and services. All personal information shall be handled in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. Promoter’s privacy policy available at tena.co.uk/privacy-policy. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to DataPrivacy@essity.com. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.

  21. General: The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

  22. Where a Claimant (i) has not completed fully; or (ii) has been found to be in breach of any of the terms and conditions or the spirit of this promotion and in particular where a person is in breach of any entry restrictions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce its right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement to us the full amount of any refund even where a refund has already been awarded and/or actually provided to the Claimant or awarded Claimant in question.

  23. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of a Claimant’s identity in the form of a passport or driving licence. The Promoter also reserves the right to request such other documentation as the Promoter may reasonably consider necessary.

  24. If you attempt to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this promotion by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, we may seek damages from you to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we may ban you from participating in any of our future promotions, so participate fairly.

  25. The Promoter cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party. Participants in this promotion agree that the Promoter will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from participation in this promotion. Nothing in this clause shall limit the Promoter’s liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud. That liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

  26. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to events outside of the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries (this includes, without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion). If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

  27. These terms and conditions and any related disputes are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you live in another part of the UK in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

  28. If any provision or part of these terms is deemed void or otherwise unenforceable in law then that provision or part shall be deemed excluded and the remainder of these terms shall remain in force.

  29. The Promoters decision in all promotional matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  30. Claimants’ statutory rights are not affected.
